Last weekend in August father and I visited international amatuer meeting in Holice. This year we decided to stay both days, Friday and Saturday and we stayed for night in Pardubice in our favourite hotel.

Arrived in 9:30 after 160km long journey. Very friendly entrance fee 50CZK for both days. This year was on Friday less people than ever before. It was right time look at flea market, which was situated all around where could access cars.

Among tables with flea market goods were also intresting things to see..

Special story was pick up our QSL cards. Already before Holice meeting I sent email request that father (OK2BX) and I (OK4BX) want to pick up our QSL cards. What a fun when QSL cards were available only for me (OK4BX) and and father's (OK2BX) cards took already someone else before. We speculated who did it – without any result. Fortunatelly QSL bureau officials made announcement in local broadcast and everthing was clear after short while, everything was solved. OK2BDX took accidentally father's cards, someone badly spelled or heard “D”, hi.

There was also nice display in commercial hall of youth club Q-club. I stayed for several minutes and listen to explaination their own method of teaching morse code.

On Friday I visited workshop moderated by Franta OK1HH about Sun, solar activity, dx prediction..

From commercial attendants impressed me booth where Mr. Begali, I2RTF presented and sold his keyers. Really nice.

There were also national clubs from our neighbourhood.

and hams met each others..

We left Holice on Saturday shortly after noon. In Jimramov we made coffee break. What a surprise when we sat and suddenly arrived Karel OK2ZI with his son on their coffee break from Holice, hi. So we stayed for while and then we returned to cars heading to our homes..
