CQ WW RTTY 2012 - OK1RIG & OK4BX

Also in this weekend dad and I participated in CQ WW RTTY contest. This time each of us used different callsign. I had my own – OK4BX, dad used our new Radio Club callsign – OK1RIG. Condx were awesome whole weekend and I spent most time on 15m & 10m bands. Dad sat by radio during Saturday evening and night to early Sunday morning.

It is clear, there is no chance for serious compete with our simple hardware, so our goal was give points to others. I was lucky and some DX stations worked me too. Highest chance usually on far ends of each band. Secretly, I hoped for new states to my WAS via LoTW.

After contest I was really curious to see all stations in map. Finally, it was great opportunity finish my python script convert callsign to geolocation via hamqth.com. Browsing the stations in Google Earth is really addictive. I like very much see towers and antennas on highest zoom resolution in satellite mode or just from road in Street view.
